In this week's video, I delve into Glassdoor Burnout stories.
Glassdoor offers a platform where you can anonymously connect with coworkers and professionals, receive career advice, and explore job opportunities, company reviews, and salaries. This resource is invaluable for making informed career decisions. You need this resource on your job hunt. It helped me on mine’s, and I used it a lot in my career and leveling up companies.
The community section, known as “Bowls,” (I know strange name) is divided into various topics.
In my latest video, I focus on the Burnout Bowl, sharing some compelling stories you can find there and some of my feedback on them. What’s new with Dellyn Digital📝🎮?
Well, I did it.
I officially took down my own personal job hunt boss.
After 80 days of:
Leveling up my resume and LinkedIn, applying to over 200 jobs, networking with others, making content based around my skills (long form, short form, and written posts) and staying active on LinkedIn.
I will start working with a people focused company in February.
I just followed what I teach my clients, followers on LinkedIn, and sub’s on YouTube.
My system of looking for work, actually works, but only for people who stick with it and change their perspective on the job hunt.
I am still going to make content that help’s others on the job hunt with a video game twist to it. That’s not going to stop, ever!
Aside from that news, I posted a poll on LinkedIn last Sunday:
I wanted to see, if people actually want this kind of thing. It’s been on my mind since I started Dellyn Digital in 2023.

I understand how it feels to be on the job hunt these days (especially after a gut punch layoff).
↳ It was lonely
↳ I was frustrated at times
↳ I didn’t have an accountability partner or group

I am going to focused on making this into a real thing for job seekers who like to play video games, along with the courses that will be included in this community of jobseekers who love to play video games.
It's a life mission for me now. I want to do this right, so give me some time on this (I am doing this solo), I will keep you updated as always.
Oh, and I might do more polls on LinkedIn. I am thinking every Sunday, after I post the newsletter, I hope you keep giving me your intake on everything I do, I will keep adding value to you and others on the hunt.
